Watched Outland on YouTube the other night. The whole premise is this: let's put Sean Connery in a space movie, but then let's make that space movie into a western. Which is, not surprisingly, fairly successful. What it lacks, however, is any real sense of tension. I mean, come on: do you *really* think Sean Connery is going to die? This is not The Man Who Would Be King. Still, just like that movie, it did allow me to do my Sean Connery impersonation a lot, and what more motivation do you need?
