Some things sound better in German, don't they?

Well, it's the Victoria Day long weekend, because in Canada, if it has anything to do with crowns or holidays, we're all over it. Some day we might grow up, and start our own articles of faith, but in the meantime ... enjoy! (Or, if the rapture really does arrive ... Auf wiedersehen!)

  1. I guess it's been a little bit since I've visited your page (unless this is brand new)...but I LOVE your new header! Much bolder!

  2. What is it about Vitoria that you celebrate today: birth or death, or something quite other?

I used to live in Perth (Scotland) a quaint little city where they also celebrate a Victoria day, not sure if it's the same one, and on that day everyone gets into mini-busses and goes to Blackpool. Never could fathom why.
